The int. online symposium „Internationalisation and Intercultural Competence in Higher Education: Quality and Innovation“ takes place at the University VIC (Spain) from 4th-5th March.
The exponential growth of international mobility has triggered concerns about how students can be trained to make the most of their intercultural experience abroad and on how they can best achieve intercultural and global competences. Topics such as interdisciplinary work, cooperation between international office staff and academics, students’ agency, professional competencies and online learning have been discussed in recent years. The present symposium intends to share the results of research and innovative teaching practices and create a space for debate on those topics. In addition, we hope to give voice to both social and business agents and students to enhance the impact of theory on practice.
